Research Interests: Deep learning; Convolutional neural networks; Graph convolutional networks; Attention networks; Explainable AI; Biomedical image analysis; Bio-inspired computing; Pattern recognition; Transfer learning; Medical sensor.

Prof. Yudong Zhang serves as a Chair Professor at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, UK. He is the Fellow of IET, Fellow of EAI, and Fellow of BCS. He is the Senior Member of IEEE, IES, and ACM. He is the Distinguished Speaker of ACM. He was included in Most Cited Chinese Researchers (Computer Science) by Elsevier from 2014 to 2018. He was 2019, 2021 & 2022 recipient of Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher. He is included in World’s Top 2% Scientist by Stanford University from 2020 to 2022. He won Information Fusion 2022 Best Paper Award, etc. His three papers are included in Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021. He has (co)authored over 400 peer-reviewed articles in the journals: Ann Oncol, JACC, JAMA Psychiatry, IJIM, Inf Fus, IEEE TFS, IEEE TII, IEEE TIP, IEEE TMI, IEEE IoTJ, Neural Networks, IEEE TITS, Pattern Recognition, IEEE TGRS, IEEE JBHI, IEEE TCSVT, IEEE TETCI, IEEE TCSS, IEEE JSTARS, IEEE TNSRE, IEEE SJ, ACM TKDD, ACM TOMM, IEEE/ACM TCBB, IEEE TCAS-II, IEEE JTEHM, ACM TMIS, etc. There are more than 60 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 5 ESI Hot Papers in his (co)authored publications. He is the editor of Neural Networks, IEEE TITS, IEEE TCSVT, etc. He has conducted many successful industrial projects and academic grants from NIH, Royal Society, GCRF, EPSRC, MRC, BBSRC, Hope, British Council, Fight for Sight, and NSFC. He has given over 120 invited talks at international conferences, universities, and companies. He has served as (Co-)Chair for more than 60 international conferences and workshops (including more than 20 IEEE or ACM conferences). His research outputs have been reported by more than 50 news press, such as Reuters, BBC, Telegraph, Physics World, UK Today News, EurekAlert! Jingsha He

Professor, Beijing University of Technology, China.

Research field: Computer networks; information safety; 3D printing; big data and cloud computing security; digital forensics.

Graduated from University of Maryland, he  has worked in IBM Corp., MCI Communications Corp., GRIC Communications,  Inc., etc. in America, and got 15 American patents for invention. In  2003, he was introduced to Beijing University of Technology. At present,  he has published 261 papers in international journals and conference  proceedings, and got 58 Chinese patents for invention, presided over  more than 30 projects as well, such as National Natural Science  Foundation of China, 863 project, etc.

Jerry Chun-Wei Lin

Professor, IEEE Senior Member,  Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway.

Research field: Data  mining; soft computing; optimization; artificial intelligence/machine  learning; and privacy preserving and security technologies.

Jerry Chun-Wei Lin received his Ph.D. from  the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National  Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan in 2010. He is currently a full  Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Electrical  Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Western Norway University of  Applied Sciences, Bergen, Norway. He has published 500+ research  articles in refereed journals and international  conferences, 16 edited books, as  well as 33 patents. His research  interests include data mining, soft computing, optimization, artificial  intelligence/machine learning, and privacy preserving and security  technologies. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of  Data Science and Pattern Recognition, the Associate Editor of 11 SCI  journals including IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TCYB, Information Sciences, etc, and  Guest Editor for several IEEE/ACM journals such as IEEE TFS, IEEE TITS,  IEEE TII, IEEE SysJ, ACM TMIS, ACM TALLIP, ACM TOIT and ACM JDIQ. He  has recognized as the most cited Chinese Researcher respectively in  2018, 2019, and 2020 by Scopus/Elsevier. He is the Fellow of IET (FIET),  ACM Distinguished Member and IEEE Senior Member.

Yanling Cai

Associate professor, master supervisor, Zhengzhou University, China.

Research field: Applicable technology innovation of digital economy and its promising integration with manufacturing industry and supply chain commerce; Product innovation strategy and its market planning, with focus on smart products; Innovation policy planning at metropolitan level with designed technology planning roadmap in any emerging industry; Intensive case analysis of various scenarios with application of Big Data, AI, Industry IoT, etc., under the macro-viewpoint of digital economy.

Dr. CAI Yan-Ling (Jeffrey), is currently working with the School of Management Engineering, Zhengzhou University, PR China, as an associate professor. He received his PhD degree in 2008 in the domain of Manufacturing System and Technology Innovation, conferred by National University of Singapore (NUS), with joint collaboration of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the Singapore-MIT Alliance (SMA) program. His research interest covers Product Planning, Healthcare Management and Telemedicine System, and E-commerce Platform Enterprise Strategy, as well as Manufacturing System etc. He has published 40+ journal papers and conference papers within his research interest, and among these journals are included CIRP Annuals – Manufacturing Technology, Computers in Industry, Concurrent Engineering: Research and Applications, etc. Meanwhile, he serves as editor or reviewer of a couple of international academic journals, like International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (IJAMT), Journal of Engineering Design (JED), Advances in Industrial Engineering and Management (AIEM), etc. He also works as principal research scientist with Henan Telemedicine Center of China (HTCC), and as deputy director with Henan Digital Healthcare Research Center (HDHRC).
